I got a message last night from dear friend and fellow artist, Lynn. It still has me chuckling, as only another artist would have a clue what it is about.
Oh. My. Goodness.
Naphthamide maroon and piemonite genuine.
I have big tubes ; bring two empty pans when I next see you x
It’s what you do on a Sunday night!
Lynn is partly responsible for rejuvenating my painting passion. As someone relatively new to watercolour, her paintings are very inspiring. She is also responsible for introducing me to Daniel Smith watercolours. Her message is referring to two watercolour paints from that range.
These are the paints I have in my big pallet ready to take to France. Almost all of them are Daniel Smith. There are just a couple of W&N. Piemonte Genuine is in there already. I wonder if I can make room for the Naphthamide Maroon…
My blog’s better than yours!
Ha ha!
Well it was a Bank Holiday š
Oooh, that Opera Pink!
